Job Descriptions for Most Hired for Positions:
Direct Support Professional (DSP)
As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll provide direct service supports to Companions in day services. DSPs are positive supporters to Companions’ needs and desires by serving as supervision, advocacy, and direct assistance for Companions to successfully participate in educational, leisure, and recreational activities in the community.
In-Home Provider
As an In-Home Provider, you’ll provide services to Companions ranging from light household cleaning to household cleaning with incidental assistance with home management and/or activities of daily living. In-Home Providers are positive supporters to Companions who are unable to manage the general cleaning and household activities, or the primary caregiver who is regularly responsible for these activities is unable to manage the household activities. In-Home Providers may be responsible for transportation to medical appointments, grocery store, etc.
Extended Family Home Provider- (EFH)
As an EFH, you’ll provide services in your own home and make a difference in a person's life. These professionals provide individuals with supportive services such as individual care and supervision, and assist them in reaching their goals.
